Flow(t) Away

There are times in life where we sometimes find ourselves maybe feeling stuck. If you are anything like me, you have, anyway. As humans, with so many characteristics and ways of being, we can be great at getting along and working together. Unfortunately, on the topic of duality, we, as humans, also have the capacity to work against one another.

So far this year, I have been told that I have guided the best class someone has been to. I was told that I was the reason someone has returned to Yoga to stay. I was told that it was okay for me to cry. I was told that I had an attitude. I was told that I was being disrespectful. I was told how love and appreciated I am. Some of this is within the last seven days, if I am being completely truthful.

The reason I share this is because I want to remind you that you are worthy of the inner voice that is having thoughts and whispering questions about how someone or something does not feel good or align well with your inner realm.

In reflecting and sitting with our thoughts and feelings, it can also be overwhelming. We don't always know what direction to go, what "gut" feeling to sit with and/or act on. What we can say is definitely going to always be beneficial to lean on in these moments, is our breath. The breath, as one of my teachers has reminded me, is one of, if not THY most intimate relationship that we have with ourselves.

How special is that?

What comes to mind when you hear this?

How can you use your breath to allow you to let go today? Maybe tomorrow. Just like the breath comes in and out of our body, so can our thoughts. So can our troubles.

I am not here to tell you what to do or encourage you to allow something or someone to continue a path in your life if it does not serve you. What I am asking is if you can find your breath and find space for your inner knowing. Like a wave, can you allow that invasive thought to, flow(t) on. Away, even.

I love you.
